How it works
1- Send me an email at ingrid (at) lilou-interiors.com and explain briefly what you are trying to do.
Things I need to know:
- A brief description of the area
- A brief description of what you wish to achieve (contemporary, dramatic, traditional, etc.)
- What is being worked on/replaced & what is staying.
- Colours you do NOT like
- Photos of the room / area are most welcome -a picture saves a thousand words!
2 – I will acknowledge your email, and ask you to select one of the services below and make the appropriate payment.
3 – On receipt of payment for my online service, I will work on your colour scheme and ask for further details as needed.
On receipt of deposit for home consultations, I may ask you for further information to help me build a good picture of your project ahead of our first home visit.
4 – On completion of the consultation process, you will receive a colour palette plus appropriate additional samples and information, according to the service you have requested.

Online Colour Consultancy fees:
Option A – £45 per Room or Area
This core service includes a full paint colour palette, sent via email. If the area is a kitchen, cabinets can be included in the palette.
In addition to a paint colour palette, I also offer material and colour options for one or more of the following items *
- Flooring (carpet, wood, tiles) – please specify which one
- Wall tiles
- Wallpaper
- Fabric for curtains, soft furnishings
- Worktop

Option B – £65 per Room/Area
This includes a full paint palette & recommendations for 1 additional item * of your choice, sent via email. eg paint plus wallpaper, or paint plus carpet
Option C – £85 per Room/Area
This includes a full paint palette & recommendations for 2 additional items * of your choice, sent via email. eg paint plus wallpaper plus fabric
Option D – £105 per Room/Area
This includes a full paint palette & recommendations for 3 additional items * of your choice, sent via email.
Personal Colour Consultation
If you prefer, I can come to your home to discuss your project in person.
Option A – £115 for a paint colour scheme- I will travel to your home to discuss and finalise colours for painted walls and woodwork / kitchen cabinets. I have a good selection of paint swatches and I will find “your” colours!
To proceed with a home consultation I ask for a deposit with your order of £75. The balance is due in full upon initial visit.
Price is per colour scheme, not per room. So if the colours work in the kitchen and utility etc. only one fee is payable.
The price covers within 40 miles of Chester. For commissions further afield, POA

Option B – £350 for a Full Colour Scheme
Based on the findings from an initial 2-hour home consultation, I will obtain samples of carpet, tiles and fabric that meet your requirements for colour, texture and budget, and select one or two of the best examples of each item.
On our second meeting, I will bring the samples and colour palette. I will explain how they work as a blueprint for when you go shopping for accessories, fabric, carpets and so on. Essentially, you will then have the confidence to know what to look out for amongst the thousands of options that probably drove you to contact me in the first place.
To proceed with a home consultation I ask for a deposit with your order of £75. The balance is due in full upon second visit.

Paint, wallpaper, fabrics
We can provide a free no-obligation quote for most paint, wallpaper and fabrics. Wherever possible, prices are inclusive of delivery to your home. With wallpaper, the cost of specialist adhesive is also included, if specified by the manufacturer.
Payment should be made with order.
